Two weeks ago, our little angel, Hayley, came into this world and perfectly completed our family. Her brothers adore her, she already has Daddy wrapped around her finger, and Mommy is having a blast dressing her up like a little doll! She is amazing, and we couldn't be more excited to have her here!

To my children:

You sweet little boys. You are much too young to know about the horrible events that happened last Friday, and for that I am grateful. You don't know hate. You don't know sorrow. You haven't experienced loss. I want so badly to shield you from anything that could ever hurt you, and it breaks my heart to know that I can't. I see so much life and love in your eyes. You are so full of wonder and excitement. Some days I get frustrated and long for the days when I can send you to school, but mostly I just wish I could freeze you as you are and never let you go. I get scared sometimes that I am failing you. Am I teaching you to be kind? Am I teaching you to respect your elders? Am I being a good example? Are my words sometimes too harsh? I know I'm not a perfect mother, but I love you more than I ever thought possible. Your smiles and laughter brighten my days. When you're happy, I'm happy. I love to see you succeed, and try new things. I hope you can somehow know how much you mean to me, and how much I love you. You are my world.

Announcing UT-H Class of 2013 mini sessions!

I have put together a special mini session package for all UT-Houston 4th year med students! Medical school graduation is a big deal that you will want to remember forever, so I want to give you the opportunity to celebrate this huge accomplishment and share the memories with your families.

The mini package is $250 and will include a 30-45 minute photo session, 4 5x7 prints and 2 8x10 prints, and a disk of lo res watermarked images of the photos you choose to print for internet use. Photos will take place at Memorial-Hermann hospital and Hermann Park.

Jackson has been begging to go to the temple for quite some time now, and since we haven't made it to the one in Houston, we decided to show him where Mommy and Daddy got married! He loved it--especially the water fountains! ;)
